Frequently asked questions

We have gathered here the most frequently asked questions about renting our water  equipment. If you cannot find the answer to your question, please do not hesitate to contact us directly!

Are you located by the water?

Yes! We are located directly on the waterfront at Douglass Beach on Brome lake. Our convenient location allows you to pick up your equipment and get on the water with ease. Visit us at:

Is there a liability waiver to sign?

Yes, a liability waiver must be signed before your activity. It will be provided to you on site.

Do you offer delivery?

Additional fees apply. We can deliver the equipment to your favorite water spot in the Eastern Townships, but it is important to choose your equipment carefully before your excursion, as we cannot transport everything with us.

Is it possible to make a reservation?

Yes, reservations can be made by phone or email. It is recommended to reserve earlier for larger groups to make sure our equipment is available.

Do you offer beginner lessons or basic instructions?

No lessons are offered, but basic explanations on how to use and operate the equipment will be provided.

How can I pay?

We accept cash, debit, credit, e-transfers, etc.

Can the rental gear be used at any water spot?

Since we are located directly on Brome Lake, it is an excellent choice for enjoying your rental. However, you are free to explore whichever lake or river appeals to you most. We simply ask that you comply with all applicable municipal regulations regarding watercraft cleaning before launching on another body of water.

Is there a security deposit?

For custumers who keep the equipment at the beach for the entire rental period, no security deposit is required. A valid driver's license will be kept on file and returned together with the equipment. 

For custumers who leave the beach with the rented equipment, a security deposit is required before departure. The deposit will be fully  refunded upon return of the equipment, provided it is returned in the same condition as at the time of rental.

If the beach is closed, can I still go paddle boarding

Yes. You can still enjoy paddle boarding. We simply ask that you stay outside the designated swimming area and follow all posted signs and applicable regulations.
